As we move into 2024, there are a lot of changes in nursing that affect us. COVID, WAR, and the general state of affairs has us scrambling to meet the new demands made of us as infusion nurses.

Let's support each other. It's the best way to get where we need to be- to meet the increasing needs of the changing healthcare landscape - to be capable of taking care of our patients - and to make sure mere jobs don't consume us but instead make us confident and satisfied that we are the best version of ourselves!!

Marlene has always had a passion for the NC INS and has worked with the chapter since the days when it only met twice a year! We are so lucky so to have someone so dedicated! Thank you, Marlene!

Lisa Surby, PhD,RN,IgCN, has a passion- her passion is EDUCATION!!!! As an educational director for a large infusion nurses company, she regularly keeps abreast of changes in regulations, requirements, and new skills needed to be the best nurse possible for our patients.
